Daily review

July 14, 2026

Fitness grew into a complete training system, Nutrition became trustworthy enough for everyday cooking, and HQ opened new paths for career work and family coordination. Late sign-in failures exposed a shared weak point; access was restored and safer code-entry fallbacks shipped without forcing a risky suite-wide cutover.

What moved

Wins

  • Fitness became a complete training system, and production access was restored.
  • Nutrition gained dependable cooking guidance, saved meals, History, and direct code sign-in.
  • HQ added a mobile-friendly AI FinOps path and a scoped family Real Estate tracker.
  • Finance shipped a clearer, fully cross-footed conscious-spending view.
  • The local Claude Code installation was repaired so automatic updates work again.

Morning starting point

Focus tomorrow

  1. 1.Verify the newly deployed Nutrition and HQ code-entry flows on the phone.
  2. 2.Complete the staged shared-sign-in path across the remaining apps before changing any production provider.
  3. 3.Run the Fitness data-quality audit and record one real training session before trusting the new analytics for decisions.
  4. 4.Provision and test the scoped Real Estate family view on mobile.

Shipped

Finance

  • Deployed a conscious-spending board readout with group-aware status language, trend sparklines, pace comparisons, and a guilt-free-spending remainder.
  • Added merchant search to the transaction ledger and made the headline ratios visibly cross-foot as one complete cash-flow identity.

Fitness

  • Shipped the full Fitness training system: dedicated dashboard, program, session, exercise, progress, and action views built around the existing training history.
  • Restored production sign-in with direct email codes and deployed the staged foundation for shared suite authentication while retaining a working fallback.

Nutrition

  • Shipped History and saved meals, expanded the practical recipe library, and improved meal logging and Pantry-driven recommendations.
  • Audited the current recipe set so cooking fats, raw-versus-cooked quantities, servings, and rounded macros are explicit and directionally reliable.
  • Added exact missing Pantry-item names to recipe cards and deployed direct email-code sign-in compatible with the shared authentication email.

HQ, Job Search, and Real Estate

  • Added an AI FinOps study path and split the material into mobile-friendly Research, Work plan, and Career path views.
  • Deployed a read-only Real Estate tracker with fail-closed, route-scoped family access support; activating a family account remains a deliberate follow-up.
  • Resolved the late merge conflicts between shared sign-in, Job Search navigation, and Real Estate access, then restored HQ production after a safe rollback.

Tooling

  • Repaired the local Claude Code installation so the current native release takes precedence and automatic updates work again. No repository files changed as part of that repair.

Decisions

  • Shared sign-in will continue through staged canaries with a tested fallback; production access takes priority over forcing a premature cutover.
  • Family access is an explicit exception limited to the Real Estate section. The private HQ dashboard and other projects remain owner-only.
  • Nutrition can use rounded estimates, but calorie-bearing ingredients such as oils, butter, sauces, and toppings must always be measured and counted.
  • Real Estate is now the active second HQ priority behind Job Search rather than a parked project.

Used in real life

  • Signed into Fitness production and opened the redesigned training system after the authentication repair.
  • Updated a real Pantry item in Nutrition and used the result to validate the new missing-ingredient behavior.

Parked

  • Remove the harmless, shadowed legacy Claude Code installation when administrator access is convenient.
  • Broader guest invitations and public Nutrition or Fitness views remain later-sprint work.
